I sought Bassons' services for rust removal. While offering a substantial discount on an initially inflated quote, Bassons never fully onboarded the services I needed. Instead, they campaigned to deliver services I did not need or want in lieu of the service I was looking for. Each time I left the workshop I had to return on account of a job poorly done. The first time surprisingly being that my car’s cabin had now sprung a leak!

It’s worth mentioning that upon leaving the workshop for the first time, it was lucky that I had checked my belongings as I nearly lost some vital emergency gear that Bassons had neglected to return to my vehicle. Each time I had my car returned with some novel damage or, seemingly creative, new quirk. I only had the spirit to return three times, leading to a cumulative time of almost two months without transport. That is not to mention the 2 hour round trip to drop off and retrieve my vehicle each time. However, in all fairness, at no additional charge, Bassons took my car in and repaired the faults found. Note, however, that they did generate new faults at an almost 1:1 ratio each time they took my car in. I stopped returning weeks ago. To this day I am finding novel damage and places they cut corners. Suffice it to say, that which was not immediately visible got no attention. I’ve given up on returning to fix the bits and bobs and corners cut and have taken it upon myself to find (and pay) alternate service providers to patch these up. If you’re looking for an easy solution or craftsmen who take pride in their work, this is not the place for you. I really would warn against using Bassons.
