Never use base
Review for Hello Peter: Base 44 Subject: Months of work and thousands of Rands wasted due to lack of transparency I am writing this to warn others about my experience with Base 44. I have spent months of my time and thousands of Rands developing on this platform, only to find out far too late that it lacks essential, industry-standard capabilities. Specifically: • No App Store/Play Store Publishing: They do not disclose upfront that you cannot actually post your finished product to the Apple App Store or Google Play Store. • No In-App Purchases: There is no support for native in-app purchases, which is a core requirement for almost any modern mobile business. • Misleading AI Support: Even their built-in AI fails to mention these massive limitations when you are building, leading you to believe your project is viable when it isn't. It is incredibly frustrating to be misled by omission. If I had known these features were missing, I would never have invested a single cent or an hour of my time. Avoid this platform if you actually intend to launch a functional mobile app.
