********** - PAID FOR NOTHING

I had a problem with a clutch pedal coming back half way, decided to take my car to ford in Edenvale - Basil Green (14.0ct.2019)

I told the service consultant by the name of Busi that my slave cylinder is leaking

she then said i must do a diagnoses so the can determine the exact problem at the cost of R1900, i agreed

I dropped the car at 10am, was told the diagnoses is 2 hrs, i came back same day to check around 3pm....my car was just outside unattended

Around 4pm she called me saying they are going to put the slave cylinder i bought - never mentioned any results about the diagnoses

i was the everyday maybe twice a day, initially i was told this is 7hr job and my car will be ready Tuesday or Wednesday morning

A mechanic suggested i buy a rear mean seal also, i did buy because i trusted them

only when i complained to Jan (big boss) that my car has been at the service centre for 3 days now and no one is saying anything, he said my car will be ready by 2moro (thursday), i came in the morning around 11am thinking its all done

Guess what , i was told to come back around 4pm.

Around 4pm - the service consultant says i must talk to the mechanic, mechanic says now i need to buy the master cylinder but i can drive the car

seeing them that they take days to fix simple things and charge you crazy labour fees i opted to take my car, i then paid R6700 for labour,

as soon as i put on gear 1 just at ford the service centre the slave cylinder blew

What pains me most everyone was just looking at me as helpless as i was, i went to call the mechanic. he said dont worry go buy a master clutch your car will be fine

I had to tow my car, from them - my car came to ford driving, i paid them lot of money and came out not driving.

i took to my mechanic, the seal was not put in properly (oil was dripping), gear box bolts not done correctly, my slave blew because fitment was not done correctly

DO NOT TAKE YOUR CAR TO THOSE PEOPLE -TAKE IT AT YOUR OWN RISK!

I REPEAT DO NOT, RATHER TAKE IT ELSEWHERE
