Basil Green Service Dept Bad Customer Service

Took my car in for a first service today...dropped it early before 7 AM. Around 13:00 PM I received a call to inform me that it will be ready around ‘15:30, 4-ish’. So I waited in expectation to receive a confirmation call of when to collect my car. By 4 PM I had not received a phone call. When I called in to find out what was happening, the ‘gentleman’ was very pompous and argued that he told me the car will be ready at 15:30...mind you he had told me ‘15:30, 4-ish’. Every service place I have been to before I bought a Mazda would contact me to confirm the precise time of when to collect my car. I worked from home today and could have fetched my around lunchtime when the traffic was still quiet...irritated.

If what happened today is how Basil Green deals with its customers, then I will be taking my car elsewhere for service next time.
