Unhappy chappie

So I ordered a brand new I phone 11 on Bash on 21/08/2024. I had bought it as a gift for someone and the phone was delivered to that person the next day 22/08/2024. This person only opened the box a week later for her birthday which was 29/***. The same day she reported to me the phone camera is faulty so I apologized and picked the phone on 01/09/2024. I took the phone to fochini in galleria mall and they checked it and acknowledged it was faulty so they said they want to book for repairs as its past 7 days. We didn't even use the phone. Bought it brand new and it has a fault. Not asking for refund just for it to be changed for another new one. How do i trust a phone now that has been repaired. It's also an embarrassment for me as this was a gift and it came with a few fault. We only had the phone 12 days of which it was only opened 6 days. I have been a loyal customer for over 10 years and paid R8400 for this phone but now stuck with a faulty one. It's only fair that they change it for a new one as it cost me alot of money. Pls do the right thing.
