Frustrated client

I bought a phone on the 4th of September 2023, it was working fine, I loved it. Bought at Bash, Hi Store, Welkom Goldfields Mall. After a month the phone started to give problems, exactly on the 23rd of October 2023, I went to the store, they pressed something, and then said it should be fine, if it's not, I should go back, after an hour the phone was still not coming right. I went back, they took the phone and booked it in. I wasn't told the turn around time about how long would it take for it to be returned. I tried contacting Bash via email, and they told me they can't help, they are only for online. They said I should go back to the store, on the 1st I went to the store, and they told me the phone was booked in, and there is no turn around time, when the phone is back I will get a call. I could understand that I can't get a refund. But now I am left phone less, and all my work I do it via phone. I am unable to do my job. If I can't get a refund, can I please get an exchange because my job is suffering. I am going to left unemployed.
