Cancelling my order while item is still listed as available on the app!

On August 2nd, I ordered a Hisense 65-inch TV from Bash. Initially, I intended to purchase it with cash while it was on special, but I decided to buy it online instead. During the purchase process, I wasn't asked for TV license details and was informed that these would be required upon delivery.

My order remained pending in the Bash app, so I followed up on August 5th and was told that it wouldn’t be processed until I provided a valid TV license. I am unclear why this information wasn’t required when I placed the order or why there was no follow-up regarding this issue. Instead, I had to reach out to them to be informed about the need for a TV license.

I provided the TV license number and was assured that it would be validated by the end of the business day, and that I would receive a confirmation email. However, I had to follow up again, only to be told there was a backlog and that the validation would be done on August 6th.

The next day, I received an email saying that the validation of my TV license had been escalated to management. An hour later, I got another email stating that my order had been canceled due to a lack of stock, despite the item still being advertised on Bash!

Why are you advertising items that are not in stock? Why did you let me go through this whole process of following up, only to tell me the item is unavailable? I could have bought the TV at Game while it was still on sale on August 2nd but chose to purchase it online instead. It's not only an inconvenience but it's also false advertising when you are advertising items that you do not have.
