“Bash/Volpes failed collection arrangement, missing towels & incorrect refund”

Extremely disappointed with Bash/Volpes handling of my order and refund.

I purchased the Volpes Buy 1 Get 1 Free towel promotion through Bash/Payflex and paid approximately R1,197 for what should have been 6 towels.

Only 1 towel was initially delivered to Volpes Walmer, after which confusion started regarding the rest of the order.

On the 14th, I received ANOTHER OTP/SMS from Bash indicating collection. I immediately called the Volpes Walmer store and specifically explained that I was out of town and would only be back over the weekend. I requested that the towels please be kept aside, and the store agreed telephonically.

I therefore re**** on this arrangement and believed my order was secure for collection.

Now, after all of this, I am being told by Bash that the remaining towels were returned because of an “8-day collection policy.” What is shocking is that this was NEVER communicated during my call when I requested the arrangement, nor was I informed that the store would still send the towels back despite agreeing to keep them aside.

To make matters worse:

• Bash telephonically advised me that approximately R900+ had supposedly been refunded, yet only approximately R399 reflects in my Payflex wallet. • Payflex instalments still continued deducting. • I drove unnecessarily to and from Volpes Walmer. • I am now left without the towels I paid for during a promotional sale and facing refund complications.

My frustration is not only the refund confusion, but the fact that I specifically called after receiving the OTP, made arrangements in good faith, and was still prejudiced.

I do not believe this matter has been handled fairly and would like Bash/Volpes to urgently resolve this by honouring and fulfilling the original towel order at the promotional price OR providing a proper full resolution.
