Bash Purchased

I purchased an occasional chair from Bash on 20 October 2024. Firstly when you start to do a purchase it says all purchases from over the amount of R500 is free from delivery charges and any item can be returned for free within 30 days. My purchased was for R6 999.00 although the amount charged was for R8 699.00. On query that with Bash their response was that the free delivery is not applicable on furniture so they charged me R1 700.00 delivery fee.

On receiving the chair, the colour was not true to the colour on the picture, so I had to return the chair, which I did the next day after delivery.

I lodged a return request to them where they then needed a picture of the item before they can go ahead with my request, which I did sent to them straight away.

On the 6 of November 2024 I received a notification of a transaction credit refund from them. Up to date I have not received the credit and after numerous emails from me to them they kept on saying to me that I have to wait 1-10 business day for the credit to show. Today, 11 days and still no credit. Again I communicate to them about this where they now requested my bank statements before they can to anything further.

Again I have communicate with them, asking why I need to send my personal bank statements to them to proof that there is no credit for the amount owning to me from them up to date. Surely they can do a reconciliation of this transaction from their side?

The fact that they question my honesty in this matter is unacceptable to me and I see this as *****ulent from their side.

I will appreciate any feedback on how to take this matter further.

Never will I do any purchased from Bash again and I strongly advise customers to be aware of their practices.
