Bash order submission fail but funds deducted?!?!

Attempted to place an order for a sale item on Bash and the order failed however the money was deducted on my TFG account and I called Bash & TFG customer services and was informed that it will take 72 hours for the funds to reflect on my account. Why did TFG / Bash take the funds if the order submission failed??? Now the item is out of stock and the funds have still not reflected on my account. I’ve been inconvenienced by Bash & TFG system errors! My question is why deduct my funds if the order was unsuccessful??!
