Steak restaurant with poor quality steak!

<p>We had the opportunity to receive a voucher for Barristers, we were very excited as our previous experience (when we were paying customers) was outstanding! <br /> However, we were sorely disappointed. All four steaks had a burnt, chard taste which usually indicates a dirty grill. The steaks were also taste less - even those with sauces and toppings where lacking seasoning on the steak its self. (This could have been due to the over whelming chard taste, but that shouldn't be the case). <br /> My steak, which was the 450g Pinacha, which sounded right up my alley by the right up, had large amounts of sinew, which is un-edible and makes cutting the steak a lengthily process - am I not correct in saying that removing of sinew is part of the prepping process?<br /> Medium (more to the rare side) which was ordered was tough and as mentioned above tasteless, it was not the quality one would expect for a renowned steak joint. <br /> Maybe we’ll return as paying customers and receive a better experience, as we have in the past.</p> <p>With that all being said, the service was warm and friendly.</p> <p> </p> <p> </p>
