Worst company I ever dealt with

<p>Ok I ended up dealing with them because of a bank account with ended with them becase I was retrenched and could not keep up the payments. I got work again and paid of this acount. After I made the last payment, I was phoned by a Barrett consultant demanding payment. I explained that as far as I'm concerned the account was paid in full. She agreed and said I will get a letter stating all is settled. A month later I received 11 emails and 6 sms messages demanding payment. When I asked what this was about. I gor a letter form another attorney saying it is legal fees and if I don't pay in 7 days I will be liabile for the "full" outstanding amount. I send numerous emails to Barretts and this attorney requesting an explanation of the "legal" fees and the "full" amount. No one is willing or able to answer me. I think this is a **** because I think the legal fees was included in the amount I paid off. I now refuse to pay this "legal" fees because no one will explain it to me, but am also a little weary because it might be money owned by me and I struggle finacially and do no want to have anothe big amount to pay off if they start adding more legal fees and interest. Why is it so easy for the people to harrass you but so difficult to answer a simple question?</p>
