**** operation to trick unsuspecting people into acknowledging prescribed/written-off "debts"

These people are bombarding me with constant phone calls and SMSs almost every single day. Their business model seems to solely consist of buying up prescribed or written-off debts, then contacting people to try and trick them into reactivating these "debts". I have had to install TrueCaller because of them. Each and every time I answer the phone, I tell them "Debt is prescribed. I do not acknowledge it. Do not contact me again." And yet they carry on. Do they think they're going to wear me down psychologically until I give in and acknowledge a prescribed/written-off debt? Because I will NOT! If they want to carry on with these dirty tactics, I will have the Law Society of SA deal with them.
