Barrett and Associates harras*****t

I was contacted 2 weeks ago by Nyakallo ****e from Barrett and Associates stating that I owe them legal fees for school fees from Cliffview Primary. A school that my children left 4 years ago. This was the 1st time I heard of this issue however she can see that I have paid the outstanding school fees but there are legal costs that I now need to pay them that are outstanding since 2015. However there were no outstanding school fees when my children left the school and I was given their transfer letters which clearly indicates that fees were up to date. I have continually requested a copy of the statement that she was sent from the school reflecting a breakdown of the amount they claim is outstanding. After a number of phone calls and emails I get sent a copy of the statement for legal fees which is not what was requested. Today I finally receive a statement that reflects a handed over amount of R12 200 dated October 2014 - the children were not attending Cliffview Primary in 2014. I have tried to contact Barrett and Associates to speak to a supervisor or manager and am told that they do not take calls and I am to deal with the person who originally contacted me. Every call to and from them is being added onto the "outstanding costs" and I am being threatened with further legal action and a judgement being taken against me if I do not pay them.
