VW Barons Culemborg bad service

<p>Dear Volkswagen SA</p> <p>I would to let you know about your service.</p> <p>On the 12th of May i found out that my car which I bought in<br />2014(still under maintenance plan) has a problem with the clutch, I<br />then called VW Barons Culemborg(Cape Town) to report this issue. I was<br />told that they are already fully booked for that week so i should<br />bring it in on a monday the following week ofwhich i did, I was told<br />that the car would be stripped so that they(VW service department)<br />could see what causes this problem.</p> <p>I left my car in their position and when i asked for a courtesy car I<br />was told that there isn't any available. I waited for the whole week<br />just to know what was the problem, I was then told on friday(21st of<br />May) that the report will be sent to Avis(Maintenance fleet) to asses<br />the damages and to find out if it was normal wear or it was due to bad<br />driving ofwhich I still has a problem with because I had driven the<br />company cars(Toyota Verso,isuzu bakie etc) and their clutches are<br />still intact and they are way older than this Polo,</p> <p>During this whole period I had to use a public transport and less said<br />about that the better.</p> <p>On wednesday the 25th of May I was then told that the damage is due to<br />my bad driving and negligence. I was then told that the whole job<br />would cost me R9625.07.</p> <p>I told them i will not have such amount of money and i requested them<br />to release my car, I was then told to pay R1700.00 for stripping the<br />gearbox before they can release the car. I paid this amount and<br />managed to organised a flat bed to go and fetch the car.On its<br />arrival, the car looked like it was driven in the desert(as shown on<br />the picture) and the whole engine was hanging and the exhaust pipe was<br />hanging loose as it was evident that it was not supported from the<br />time they had stripped it , I was obviously not happy with this, It is<br />evident that the only thing they want is to suck us(consumers) dry, We<br />are somehow cash ***s.</p>
