Volkswagen and Barons Bellville the worst customer service

My Golf 7 TSI which has just over 52000 km and is almost 2. 5 years old is suddenly using lots of oil, after it was serviced in July and after about 5500km, the oil light came on. After taking it to Barons Bellville they informed me they found oil in the turbo, but they couldn't tell me why that would happen, on the first day it was with them, they told me that they couldn't have me drive the car like that it has to stay there, the next day I was suddenly told they cannot find the source of the oil leak into the turbo and I have to drive 1000km and bring it back, so that they can test the oil consumption, suddenly I can drive it again. This is supposed to be a trustworthy car brand!! Will see what the oil consumption test revel, but will most likely be a cover up from VW.

I also found a socket in the engine after Barons Bellville examined the turbo, upon informing them of this, all they could say was sorry and that the technician will have to buy a new socket himself, I do wonder what they would have done if it fell into the wrong place and damaged the engine. The service at this branch and attitude of people are anything but customer centric.

Carry on like this and soon VW will no longer be a top selling brand in South Africa.
