SHOCKING SERVICE FROM BARONS TOKAI AND VOLKSWAGEN SA
I find the service at BARONS TOKAI AND VOLKSWAGEN SA atrocious as no new car should take longer to fix than it has been in my possession.
It has 1459 km on the clock and has been deemed unfit for road use?
Quite bazaar actually how BARONS TOKAI and VOLKSWAGEN choose to treat their customers. I have lost complete faith in Volkswagen. I am a single parent with two children who are of a driving age, I sold my Audi to buy three more affordable reliable cars. My expectation was that Volkswagen supply me three cars that are safe, economical and reliable. I have a job that requires me to be on the road constantly and with this I need peace of mind. Peace of mind that I will get where I am going on time, safely and with no delays. The car that I purchased from them has done no such thing. Not only has the service from the staff at Barons been unacceptable but the car is sub-par. I have had to follow up with Stephan the parts person constantly but only because Keagan and Reinus do not return my calls. I am left speechless as a consumer. On Monday the 28th May whilst driving on the highway, all of the dashboard lights as well as the speedometer stopped working. This complete failure of my brand new vehicle to perform its functions after only 1456 kilometers placed me in a dangerous situation and cannot be deemed as anything else other than unsafe. Barons Tokai have had my car in their possession (in order to effect repairs for a defect) for over five weeks. I have had limited feedback about what is going on throughout this process. It took three weeks to find the fault and still no concrete news on receiving the part/ parts. To top everything off the dealer principle told me last Thursday the part had not even started to be manufactured. This is highly disturbing as this means Volkswagen does not have an idea of the manufacture ETA, the delivery ETA nor the ETA of repairing the car. This adds to my total lack of faith in Volkswagen and confirms the unreliability of their feedback. This is the third car that I have purchased from Barons within a year, I have already had service issues regarding the other two vehicles all of which were dealt with in an inefficient manner. To which i was told that the salesman is very inexperienced. Is this an excuse? Should he not then be working under supervision? The vehicle that they supp**** me was blatently defective and owing to its failure to perform I was placed in an unsafe precarious situation. Their companies continued lack of customer support, unreasonable delays in communication regarding the time for repairs as well as the extent of the defect is unacceptable. I therefore no longer wish for the repairs to be affected and have demanded that either replace the vehicle or provide me with enough information so as to come to an agreement to purchase another vehicle to which i have had NO RESPONSE.
