Lack of customer service
I'm deeply disappointed in the customer service, the lack of professionalism and the lack of competence at the N1 City branch.
In 2016, I bought my son a new 2015 Polo TSI comfort line from the showroom. Fast forward three years to 2019 the car has 55000km on the clock. On the 22th of March 2019, the vehicle started to jerk forward a couple of times then the following message would display " ESC Error Stabilization Control". We contacted N1 City and brought the car on the Monday morning. They did three diagnostic tests saying they cleared the error because every time they guaranteed the problem was fixed it would repeat the same message and cut out completely and this happen on three different occasions. Only on the third time was it eventually booked into VW N1 City (Endangering my life). Once booked in they stated that my vehicle was out of warranty and I couldn't get a courtesy vehicle and the repairs will be done on my own expense. I was quoted for turbo waste gate (problem still not solved after the repairs), then quoted on wire harness twice(problem still not solved after the repairs), then I got quoted for the throttle body(problem still not solved after the repairs) and then they said it’s the software of the vehicle which was done and STILL DIDNT SOLVED THE PROBLEM... They say it’s another wire issue. Furthermore, I phoned the salesperson who sold me the car and asked him about the warranty of the vehicle. He stated the car was covered till 60 000km and thereafter VW N1 CITY found out it’s on the system meaning for two months I was car less and for the first two weeks I have a courtesy vehicle. Throughout the whole process I had to follow up with VW N1 City to get updates about my vehicle and by the way my vehicle is still at VW N1 City. I don't know how you going to remedy this situation but I’m completely disappointed.
