Barons vw tokai

<p>I took my wife's vw touron into barons tokai after a horrible ticking noise developed in the engine. They took nearly two weeks to get back to me. I was informed that it would cost R3.5k just for them to start looking for the problem. They then informed me that i would need to replace the hydraulic lifters. After doing this the problem was still not fixed. At a cost of R22k. They then contacted me to say the problem was not solved and that it would now cost R115k. I am not able to pay this so i told them to stop work. I am forced to pay R22k to get the vehicle back. The problem is not solved and i will have to get an engineering company to finish the job. Apparently the crank bearing needs to be replaced. From the start the service was lacking. Response was always delayed and the costs are ridiculous. </p>
