Barons Mastercars Bruma

Bought a vehicle from Barons Mastercar Bruma Johannesburg in Jan 2022 and paid cash for the vehicle. Much to my surprise I was pulled over at a roadblock on Sunday 06 March 2022 and was informed that there are outstanding fines and a warrant for the previous owner on the vehicle and was threatened by Ekhuruleni Metro to pay the fines or face arrest. I was not allowed to leave the site without payment of fines to the value of R1400.00. I contacted the dealer and was totally brushed off and was in no uncertain terms told that it is not their problem which is bulls..t as the licensing dept and other dealerships have informed me that change of ownership cannot be done with outstanding fines on the vehicle. These people have , in my opinion, surpassed correct processes (or company they use to license vehicles) and pushed through the reg to get the deal.

It is a disgrace to do business with a company like Bruma Mastercars as they definitely do not give a rats behind about the customer once they got the sale.
