Barons Bluff - Non Disclousre - Diplicate logbook

In March 2017 I purchased a 2015 Golf 7 R from Barons VW in Bluff. I was tired of buying form unknown companies & decided to put my trust and faith in a big brand. Suffice to say that I'm utterly disgusted with Barons VW because 15 months later, and I still don't have number plates.

I was **** to about the vehicle's history and after doing my own research I found that the vehicle had a "duplicate logbook" (I have an email from Barons confirming this)

What's worse, is that Barons was aware of the status of the vehicle in question and DID NOT DISCLOSE the matter to me. In fact, they made up a very different story when they sold me the vehicle. I was gullible enough to not expect a company of this magnitude to lie!

For almost a year, they kept saying "there's a small breakdown in communication between the ABSA and licensing. In fact, the Dp kept passing the buck on to ABSA.

I have made numerous attempts to resolve this matter but Barons is being really ridiculous and I feel that they are still trying to profit from me on another deal.

Furthermore, they have not taken responsibility for hiding the information from the previous time the vehicle was returned to them and flagged on their system for the same problem. They keep saying it's a problem with ABSA.

Now I have tried on numerous occasions to make them understand that they need to consider that whatever deal is structured, i will not lose my money which has been invested in this vehicle this far. Whether on premiums or insurance, or deposit!

Because I trusted them and bought the vehicle. The Dp made me an offer for a 2016 model, but without the features that my vehicle has...so naturally I declined!

I asked them to take the vehicle back, Return my deposit, Back pay my premiums on all fronts, and I will buy another vehicle. But they only want to return my deposit and this is wrong!

Why should I pay a price for their incompetence and irresponsible behavior on the matter?

I'm enraged, even more, because the dp is now threatening to not give me permits so that the car can go for police clearance again! It just went for police clearance recently and I comp****...

Also, how were they getting my permits on my name for over 15 months???? Seems like a lot of ***** stuff going on here!

I have been stopped by cops so many times, I feel like a ****** ******** now!

Outrageous and ********* behavior from the people who are handling this matter!

They either give me a better deal, or take back their car under my conditions or I will go full out on a media campaign against them!
