bad service

I bought a polo vivo at barons through Alan Daniels in January 2015, I was assured that the car has a service history and I will receive the service book on purchase of the car, I received the car 30 January 2015 without the service book, I followed up on the book and only received it September 2015, what I received was a paper with dates on which to me is not a valid service book their excuse is that the book is somewhere in Durban, I am very unhappy with the service as I am not paying small change for my car and now there is no valid service history. I would like this matter to be resolved as I feel I was ****med into buying a car which is now not up to standard as I though.
