Love Barley & Biltong

I have read some of the reviews with regards to Barley & Biltong and they are not that wonderful, mine on the other hand was quite pleasant.

I took my family to go strawberry picking within last month and after a bit of rain we decided to call it quits and not go straight home but instead make a turn at Barley & Biltong on the Spice Route.

We decided to go eat first as we were very hungry. At the door we were informed that they do not have any tables available, but if we would like to we could walk around a bit and we would be contacted if a table became available. We walked around for a bit as we had never been to the Spice Route before. Half an hour passed and I received a call to confirm that our table is ready.

I waiter was friendly and not long after being seated we were served with drinks (which we ordered). Our meal didn't take to long and it was well prepared and equally as tasty (compliments to the chef). I also have to mention the chilled atmosphere and beautiful view from our table.

I would advise you if you have never been to the Spice Route please visit and while there pop in at Barley & Biltong, but be sure to not make the same mistake we did and make a reservation.
