Lies and Excuses

<p>On the 14th October 2016, I took 2 pairs of boots to the Barksole outlet in Bayside Mall, Table View for new soles. I chose the soles I wanted and was told that they only pick up the soles on a Thursday, so my boots would only be ready on Tuesday, 25 October. I was happy with that and paid the deposit. </p> <p>I tried to phone them on Monday, 24 October, but the telephone was constantly "engaged". yesterday, Tuesday, 25 October, I called the store. I eventually spoke to someone there and gave him the docket number. When he said they were looking for my boots, I decided to go to the store. When I got there, they came had not even started with my 2 pairs of boots and then came up with a story that I had to first choose the soles I wanted (which I did on 14 October). when I explained this to the people in the store, they came up with excuses that it was the factory's fault and then they even showed me other soles. </p> <p>When I asked why they would tell me it would be ready on a certain date, if it was not going to be. The arrogant reply from the black man working there was that it was not his problem as he does not own the company and does not speak on their behalf. I demanded my deposit back and waited for more than half an hour to get my boots. While I was waiting, another couple came in to pick up the lady's handbags (they were called and told the handbags were ready). The oone was ready and the other was not even on the premises. Once again, the people working in the store blamed everybody, but refused to take resposibility for it.</p> <p> </p> <p>The service at this store is pathetically poor and the people that work there are arrogant and not customer friendly. I am going to tell eveyone I know about my terrible experience and encourage them to NEVER use Barksole again</p>
