Brand new boots went in for a quote returned 3 months later damaged from Barksole Pinelands
I purchased a brand new pair of boots (proof of purchase attached) and proceeded to Barksole Pinelands on the 20th July 2017 with a request for a quote to widen boots. For 3 months I got the run around and then on Saturday 07th October 2017, I finally demanded that my brand new boots get returned as it was clear that neither the factory or Somerset West branch were interested in widening the boots. Oh my God, I just went to fetch my boots and it is damaged. You can clearly see someone spilt black dye on it and tried to scrub it clean. The boots simply went in for a quote and this is the result. I'm not too sure who gave them the green light to damage or even work on the boots as you can clearly see there is no quote amount on the quote as a new invoice would have had to be issued. I got a message yesterday to collect them. How does a SORRY compensate me for a brand new pair of boots that 3 months later have been returned damaged. (proof of damaged boots attached).
I want a full refund of the amount of R899 as these boots left Green Cross and proceeded directly to Barksole Pinelands I haven't even had the privilege and opportunity to wear them and they are damaged. What must I now do with them? They are no longer wearable!
