Barksole Tygervalley the worst of the worst !!!!!

Usually when something really terrible occurs, once you get some distance, all seems not as bad. Unfortunately, with the experience I had with Barksole, every time I think about this abysmal service and treatment, I become angrier, more disgusted and quite frankly, my disbelief just grows and grows. I took a pair of sandals with see-through high heel for new heels. I was told they could not guarantee that the heels would remain permanently affixed, which I accepted. When I collected the sandals, they were completely ruined and the see-through heels were now opaque and looked awful - completely ruined. The store-staff promised to talk to the 'boss' and see if something could be done. He phoned me and blamed the glueing process for the damage and refused to pay any compensation. I was unhappy but decided to accept this begrudgingly. When I collected my sandals today (ready for the bin only) I was told I had to pay the R90 for the work done!!!! They phoned the same 'boss' who said they were not te blame (I kid you not) and because they used material and did the work, I had to pay for a pair of shoes that they completely destroyed!!. This is not the end of the story, believe it or not. He then said the only way I could take the shoes, is if they removed the heels they put on!!! I have had some bad service in my time, but nothing that even comes close. Ironically part of my job, involves training companies on how to be excellent service providers. This company has not passed client service 101. So they are prepared to lose me and every one I know as clients, to make R90.
