Barksole Canal Walk

<p>I had the tips of my heels replaced by Barksole (BS) Canal Walk yet again, not because I have managed to walk with them and have worn them out but because I have been dumb enough to hand my shoes back to BS everytime expecting a different result.</p> <p>The first time my heel tips needed to be replaced due to wear and tear. I took them into BS and they had them fixed within the same day. I wore them to work the next day and as I stepped, the heels kept making a clicking sound as the tips had not been properly secured. During the course of the day, the heel tips completely "broke off" damaging the actual heel as well.</p> <p>When I took the shoes back BS acknowledged that they had used the incorrect size and that they would have to replace the entire heel free of charge at their factory shop and this would take a while. I was basically without my shoes for more than a month. <br />I received the shoes back and I managed to wear them again for over 6 months, until I needed the Heel tips replaced again due to normal wear and tear. I took the heels back again and collected them the same day as I needed them for a business trip and I knew this (canal walk) BS to have a fast turn around time. The morning of an important meeting I put the heels on and again there was a clicking sound as the heel tips had not been secured at all. By the time I arrived at the meeting, both heel tips had fallen out (of the heels that BS has replaced mind you) and I was basicaly walking around with a load clanking sound the entire day.</p> <p>I just want to know, why BS has never actually admitted that they cannot fix the shoes and told me to make an alternate plan? Or rather then racing to achieve a tight turnaround time, keep the shoes for the week if you have to and actually do the the repair properly instead of having me pay R58.00 for something thats as good as not done? Are the employees there rewarded on they ability to hasten the turn around time? If thats the case, the strategy seems to be rather dysfunctional.</p>
