I have been a loyal customer of this service provider for several months; however, I recently faced a setback in my employment, which prevented me from making this month's installment payment.

Employees from Barko, including both a representative and the branch manager, have been persistently contacting me for payment through WhatsApp. They have threatened to visit my workplace and have accused me of dishonesty, despite my evidence to the contrary. They claim to have contacted me from the company and confirmed my employment status, as well as alleged changes to my bank details, which is untrue. The company's calls are recorded, and no such conversation has occurred. I expressed my willingness to arrange a payment plan, but they have refused to accept this proposal. It raises the question of when credit providers resort to field visits. They appear to lack a proper understanding of the law. Consequently, I have lodged a complaint with NFOSA.
