False advertising, incorrect products and extremely poor service & communications
I'm not one to leave reviews about companies but purchasing from this company should be AVOIDED at all costs. A few months ago they were advertising profusely on Facebook about cute little "Homemade Dog Treats Kits" - silicone dog treat molds and recipe cards that were "On special" for R399.00 excl Shipping.
Having read some VERY POOR (1star reviews; which have since been removed from the website and now only 3-5* remain) on their platform, I commented and they direct messaged me to assure me that these reviews were "from the supplier of the stuff" and they received permission to add them to their website. They guaranteed me that their kits were "legit" and the kits would be delivered. What they didn't tell me was that the kits are NOTHING as advertised. There is only ONE pet related mold, the others are flowers, butterflies, teddy bears and things that you can buy from your local China town or baking shop.
Order placed 21/08 with a 2-5 day delivery time. On 27/8 I messaged to find out whether the order had been processed as no updates were received from ordering. Again queried 28/08 as no response to my message. Was advised they had run out of stock but were sending the order out that day. Order arrived on the 02/09 with completely different items than advertised. Queried the order and advised that they wanted to make sure their customers didn't have to wait for their orders so included alternative kit - but failed to mention alternatives when querying the delay in shipping. Assured me that I would be sent replacements when they arrived - thereby foregoing their returns policy.
Have followed up with 3 emails and messages and no acknowledgement nor response. Today they're back advertising like crazy on Facebook and when commenting that their customers do not receive what is advertised and that they are ghosted, IMMEDIATELY received a message saying that they are going through their emails and notifying everyone that they now have stock and that they had a few complaints. This after ghosting all my messages since the beginning of September. Their solution is to remove my (along with others) comments who have been duped into buying this products based on their adverts, and then BLOCKING me from their social media platforms , warning customers of their false advertising, ignoring messages and emails and general poor customer service.
Damage control by removing honest reviews is deceiving prospective customers! I love supporting local South African businesses but when you choose to deceive customers and then completely ignore them since the 2 September, then you don't deserve the support. If one has supply issues, just comment on the advert. If your customers are querying their order, just send them a response.
Do yourselves a favour, don't bother supporting a business that charges you R400 - R700 with delivery for items that are not advertised.
