Truly **********

On the 2nd of August, i had visited Bargain Books Ballito, and i walked in with the intentions of buying a book. But whilst i was browsing through the books i was intending to buy, i over heard that a staff member by the name of Mandy, had come in contact with the COVID 19 virus. But instead of her taking the neccessary precautions to stay home and get tested, she chose to come to work and thereby threatening the lives of every human being who entered Bargain Books on the 2nd of August. Upon phoning in to Bargain Books today, i can confirm that the staff members informed me that the staff member Mandy has indeed tested positive. So now myself and my family have to get tested due to Bargain Books inability to manage their staff during a pandemic. If this is the behavior and characteristics that Bargain Books support, then i will no longer be supporting this franchise.

Good day, thank you for bringing the matter to our attention. Bargain Books has very strict protocols in place, relative to maintaining employee health, as well as that of customers. We maintain a zero-tolerance stance in the implementation of the protocols.

The employee’s indiscretion and cavalier attitude has been dealt with swiftly, which will ultimately lead to disciplinary action. In the interim, our store closed at 10h30 this morning, in order that a deep cleaning process may begin. We apologise about this unfortunate incident.
