****** at its finest

On the 29th of November 2019, we were browsing through all the wonderful literature; we noticed one of the ladies who work there following us, as if we were going to ***** the books. Now that I think about it, she was watching us since the moment we walked inside. It was less obvious in the beginning -- she disguised her actions by pretending to look at (childrens') books or help other customers and we were excitedly looking through all the book options. But as more time went on, we did not think much of her standing nearby until we moved to another aisle. She moved along with us.

She watched us.

Unmoving.

Unblinking.

To properly test our theory, we moved around the shop and, every time, she'd come along with us. I cannot believe that we were being racially discriminated against; not to mention in 2019! None of the other customers were being followed, not even by her.

Such a creepy experience with no privacy! It's safe to say that I did not spend my hard earned money there.

The one star is just for the other workers who were decent enough to not stalk us or make us feel as if we were in prison being watched.
