Bargain book bad business ethics

With this I wish to record a complaint about Bargain Books Lephalale store. I bought a book 2 weeks ago but arriving at home I found out I had that copy of Jo Nesbo "The Thirst" already. 2 days after I went back with the purchase slip and ask or I could exchange it for another book, only to be told that I had to wait till stage-1 of the Covid-19 Lock-down was declared for them to exchange the book. Stage-1 might not come for as long as a year, if ever, in this totally miss-governed Country. To me this absolute ridiculous and done only with the aim to try not to exchange the book at all. I buy a lot of books from Bargain books but now I will never buy a book from them again and will now buy only for anybody but them. They ripped me off for 200 bucks so to miss out of thousands of rand of business. Sounds like a rather deranged policy and pathetic business practice. I discourage anybody to buy books from them so that they get taught a lesson in business ethics.
