Suspicious merchant

I ordered shoes from this company on 16 December 2023, with the promise of delivery by no later than 22 December 2023. This company gave me the impression that they were based in South Africa (the local domain name, the pricing, the courier fee etc). I only realised that they were not based in South Africa when the payment went through on my card and I was charged an international fee by the bank. On further investigation, I saw that the company is based in Cyprus (first warning light). This company creates domain names and websites for whichever country they are “selling” in (e.g. Australia). I cannot find my order on their website, they do not respond to emails etc. I have asked my bank to reverse the transaction. I am also concerned that I entered all my card details on their website and the payment didn’t go through a secure payment facilitator like with other online merchants. I was not required to authenticate the transaction either (second warning light). I will closely monitor my card for any *****ulent transactions.
