Poor quality and terrible customer support
I bought the Barestep active 2.0 shoes about 6 weeks ago. They are comfortable to start out with but soon showed signs of poor quality and craftmanship. The insoles basically disintegrated and material on shoes looks worn with the velcro also starting to unravel, this even though I only used them around the house and going to the shops a few times. Given the premium price of these shoes, I expected a much higher level of quality. I sent an e-mail to Barestep to enquire what can be done about this but even after sending follow-ups I have not had any response. This reflects extremely poor customer service and I would not recommend them to anybody.

11 Dec 2023, 12:48Hi. I received an e-mail indicating that you are so sorry to hear about my troubles and would like to offer me a 20% discount on my next purchase. Surely you are not serious? So I need to buy another pair of shoes but no word on the current pair? Terrible customer service speaks for itself.
