Misleading Advertising and bad service

On 11 January I ordered shoes from Barestep.co.za. They advertised delivery within 2 - 5 days. The also list a Cape Town business address. The payment was sent to an international broker without informing me or my consent. The next day the order showed as ready and waiting for a tracking number from the courier company. A week later the status was still the same and when I followed up I was told it should ship the next week. Same story the week after. I then requested the order be cancelled and the charges be reversed. The charges were not reversed and a seperate refund was processed. This resulted in me being charged for the international transaction fees even though they did not deliver on their promises. At no point was I kept informed of the delays not did they attempt to resolve the issue. The misleading and incorrect advertising together with the extremly poor service and slow response times makes this a company to avoid
