Barestep do not honour their size exchange policy

Beware Barestep do not honour their promise of "free size swaps". In fact I would even pay the delivery for a swap rather than have an expensive pair of shoes I can't wear but it's not an option. I used the size guide on their website and the shoe was still too small for me. I literally tried the shoes on and put it back in their original packaging within the first minute of trying them on. I immediately requested a size swap via email and was sent and email describing the conditions of exchange which included sending them photos of the shoes from all angles to prove they are unworn. I had no problem with this because I Iiterally tried the shoes on and put them back in the original packaging as per the photographs I sent them. To my horror I received an email later that day explaining that my request for exchange had been rejected based on the fact that I did not meet the conditions outlined in their return policy, which was simply untrue. I asked for an appeal and sent more photos not only of the shoes this time but also of the packaging and have not heard back despite several follow-up emails. I guess I have just been ****med and want to warn other consumers to be very careful when ordering from Barestep lest you also lose R1000 + for nothing.
