Beware of Investments

One day more than a year ago I ventured out into the Investment World for the very first time,unsure,dubious,but,inquisitive how this all works. So, I am on YouTube and I watch a talk Elon Musk gave saying that they have invented an algorithm where You invest R 4700-00 and forget about it.I call the contact number and go through the process of depositing the cash into an account. I receive a call from a person who is going to teach me to Trade,non the wiser,I entertain the first, the second and the caller wants me to invest R500 000-00,thank God I did not. I explained to the caller that I am a contractor,on site most of the day,no lap top within arms reach,and this is not what I signed up for. So,I deposited R4800-00 traded twice,where according to the caller,made money and decided this is not for me.I called the call centre who advised me I can withdraw my funds,began the process,which is long and frustrating which did not happen when I invested the funds, On withdrawing my R4800-00 not taking into consideration the trading wins,I was offered R 3615-00.I lost in excess of R2000-00 My warning to You is be careful of people, companies who are there to help themselves to Your hard earned money and what's worse is I am a pensioner.
