Bantry Bay Suites is not worth the price or 4 star rating

We are booked from the 27th to 31st December. On arrival, we discovered that a lot of things we ordererd on the menu are not available as they have not ordered. Simple things like ice cream, sandwiches, etc. The hotel has not made provision for load shedding. No generator. Nothing. 2 hotels nearby are fully functional whereas we are left with only the living room light- no TV, plugs, wifi- nothing. The elevator immediately stops functioning- God forbid you are stuck inside for 2 hours. The meals are basic. Bar & restaurant closes at 8:30pm. Terrible experience never to be repeated
