Rent to own is a huge ******* and feedback is non existent

<p>For 2 years now I have been on rent to own with Banrep MSI (Link below) and the experience is nothing but horrible.</p> <p> </p> <p>Firstly you have to put down one massive deposit which is supposedly a 25% cut of the vehicle's actual price. Mine was R14 000.</p> <p> </p> <p>So My atos is a R56000 car. Over 60 months just the monthly installments of R3472 and deposit add up to R222 320. Not including the E-toll that you are also liable for.</p> <p> </p> <p>All costs for repairs is your baby as well. I was given a car with a broken speedo cable, sludge build up in the engine and a right front wheel hub that was worn off which in turn forced me to replace both front wheel bearings. I also had to replace the clutch as the car was in an accident and the gearbox and engine dont line up. It has no rear speaker shelves for the boot cover to rest on. The spare wheel is the wrong size. Dont have a proper Jack and was not given a triangle. The one rear seat does not tumble forward as the lever to pull is gone. There was no cover on the fuel flap release. Had to get one from Hyundai.</p> <p> </p> <p>in a few days I will drop the car off and never look back. I have mailed them multiple times on both email addresses over 2 years asking for some advice and questions. No one and literally no one has mailed or phoned even though my number is in my mail signature.</p> <p> </p> <p>Avoid this place at all costs. You will be ripped a new one all the time.</p>
