Worst Medical aid

I am disgusted and annoyed by the of a joke of medical aid!!!

I pay over R6200 every month for this medical aid to assist financially when i need them.

My Daughter have a condition called Keratoconus and high myopia( Her vision is 10%) My Daughter needs hard contact lenses ,for both eyes R5250 each eye , Total of R10500 is needed

My so called medical aid declined the claim , paid only R1600 ???? Really I do not need assistance with R1600 , I can pay that even today without help from them , it is the R10k that i needed help with .

I have already paid R2000 for consultation , without them and i did not claim for it .

At first when the opt called them they said he must write a motivational letter , and they will approve R3676.30 , which he did and this morning I get call from opt to say they only paid R1600

When I call them they tell me the motivational letter was for the to approve R1600

Are they say serious conditions are not covered by the medical aid ?? They only cover flu and tonsils
