Warning to All Discovery Members

<p>I would like to bring it to all discovery mbers the frustration that i experienced with the medical aid . We have always been members of Bankmed as my wife is working for the banking industry and we were forced to take discovery as a medical aid as they are now the administartor, we have always had excellent benifits and options at bank med and ever since we changed to discovery they dont pay for doctors they dont pay sertain items , is this because they are dominating the market by 25 % and entering into agreements with coparate companies for their own benifit and profitability , as a member you arejust a number , we submitted a claim of R 1600 on the 14 of December untill today no payment has been made , we have been makining numerous phone calls and with every phone call we get the response within 7 working days , every time you call in you get the response within 7 working days . If you as a discovery member miss one payment they dont remve you but immediatly susspend you untill you make a payment</p> <p>this is a money making entity and would like to warn all future customers or people that is concidering taking discovery to think twice , as we are also starting a petition for this for other medical aids</p>
