They are liable for anesthetic payment and the shocking statement from Shamaine Molele (Specialist consultant)

<p>Good day,</p> <p> </p> <p>In November I did a procedure of removing wisdom teeth and I was advised of the maxillofacial at Arwyp in Kempton park, The maxillofacial did a great job and was confirmed by the medical aid that he was in their network and they paid.... However there is now an anesthetic doctor that also needs to be paid by the medical aid and now they are telling me they are not going to pay him in full because he is not within their network...... </p> <p> </p> <p>1) How was I suppose to know that the anesthetic doc needed to be in their network,</p> <p>I went there and on the day of the surgery, I was indroduced to other doctors and how was I supposed to ask on the surgery </p> <p>2) shamaine Molele (specialist consultant) tells me today that I was suppose to ask while I was on the surgery bed whether the supporting doctors are within the network..... SHE FURTHER TELLS ME THAT HE IS A GP AND IM THINKING WAS I NOW SUPPOSE TO SEND OUT PRIVATE INVESTIGATORS TO GO AND INVESTIGATE WHILE ON THE SURGERY BED WHAT QUALIFICATIONS DO THEY HAVE????</p> <p> </p> <p>How REDICULOUS is that?????</p> <p> </p> <p>Before I went to go see the doctor, I CALLED BANKMED AND CHECKED IF ALL IS WELL AND IF THE DOCTOR IM DEALING WITH IS IN THE NETWORK AND THEY CONFIRMED THAT THEY WILL PAY. IF YOU HAVE A SLOT FOR UPLOADS I WOULD UPLOAD ALL CALLS I HAD WITH BANKMED BEFORE THE PROCEDURE SO THAT ALL GOES WELL.</p> <p>IN THOSE CALLS NO ONE ADVISED FOR ME TO CHECK FOR SUPPORTING DOCTORS AS THEY MAY NOT PAY THEM. I SOLELY CHECKED FOR THE PERSON WHOM IM DEALING WITH AS THIS WAS MY FIRST EVER PROCEDURE AND AS FAR AS IM CONCERNED I DID WELL .....</p> <p> </p> <p>NOW IM SLAMMED WITH A SENTENCE THAT THEY WILL PAY WHAT THEY WANT.... WHAT THE HECK???????</p> <p> </p> <p>IN MARCH THEY TELLING ME ABOUT A MATTER FOR NOVEMBER............. I WONT BE LIABLE FOR THIS.... AND THIS IM SAYING IT NOW I WONT PAY THAT DOCTOR</p>
