I took out Gap cover with Discovery Health on the understanding that it would cover MRI Scans. The sales person assured me in writing that it the policy covers this event. I had a MRI scan done 14 months into the policy which resulted in me having to have an operation. Discovery has responded that it does not cover this. This is a double whammy as I paid premiums for 14 months and the cost of the scan. Be careful of Discovery promoting new products and especially the sales person!
