SAVINGS or Debt (death) trap !

Bankmed is rather shrewd in their use of YOUR savings ... they have pre-worked out the AVERAGE JOE's typical medical requirements and came up with a ****amaymey 'SAVINGS' offering just to hustle innocent members out of pocket... its no wonder that the SAVINGS is almost always used up by mid year... then you , the member (without any Actuaries advising you if the Plan on offer is a ******* or not) has to bear the brunt of OUT OF SAVINGS payments for the rest of the year... HOW IS IT POSSIBLE FOR THE ANY NORMAL HUMAN BEING TO UNDERSTAND AND COMPREHEND THE TOTAL IMPLICATIONS OF ACCEPTING A PLAN... its utterly frustrating and infuriating that these schemes ... or schemers, rather are allowed to operate in such immoral and ********* ways in our country... I hope to God, karma is real... you blood suckers!

Dear Albert
Thank you for raising your concerns with us.
As a rule, the Medical Schemes Act limits the amount that may be contributed to the Medical Savings Account to a maximum of 25% of the total Medical Scheme contribution. Medical scheme contributions may only vary due to plan type, income and the number of dependants. The percentage allocated is determined by your plan type.
It is very important to discuss your plan type with your broker. Each employer has a broker allocated to them and we would suggest that you discuss your plan option with them in order to ensure that you choose a plan that suits your financial and medical needs.
We've confirmed that email correspondence has been sent to you with further details regarding this matter and you're welcome to respond to it should you require any further assistance.
