pathetic service

Bankmed is now administered by discovery and a new rule was made that a 20% co payment is required at all Medi clinics. Last year july i was referred to medi clinic because it was 100% cover, even though i preferred netcare, i could not go to netcare because it was not 100% cover. I am now 34 weeks pregnant and now they tell me im liable for 20% co payment if i want to stay at medi clinic. I dont have a choice as no other gyni is willing to take me so late in the pregnancy. Where must i get 20% of the delivery cost in 6weeks???? This is pathetic!!! No warning, no payment arrangement and they want the 20% before your delivery date or you cannot deliver your baby at medi clinic. Now netcare is 100% cover but i cant get a gyni there because i am already 34 weeks along. What can i do? Where wil i have my baby? I dont have the money to pay the co payment. Its very unfair because i went to medi clinic to escape co payments and now i am liable??? I am so furious How can they do this? Its very unprofessional, ********* and inconsidered. Im very very disappointed. No one is willing to help us. Everyone just keeps saying 20% co payment is required but i dont have the money!!!!! Please help?
