NO REFUND ON CLAIMS SUBMITTED AND NO FEEDBACK FROM CONSULTANTS
I Summited 6 claims on 26/04/2024 which from that I only received 3 payments ( November 2023, March & April 2024) The reason for claims was that I app**** for chronic medication in September 2023 but I never got feedback of approval and as a result I purchased the medication from my own pocket. My DR submitted a new application in April and I received a call from Mpumi who confirmed that the medication was approved last year already and is due to a review in 2024 Sep. She advised that I send receipts of purchase to claims in order to get my money back. On 30/04 I called in to follow up and spoke to a guy called Nico who gave me attitude at first and did not want to assist but insisted to transfer me to medicine department and after I insisted on explaining what transpired he then confirmed that he will log a call but confirmed that I will be receiving the refund for 3 payments on 02/05/2024. He stated that he will be on leave on 02 and 3rd May and I must wait for him to give me feedback on 06 May and that was it. Seeing that the day was getting over I called at 16:10 and spoke to Andiswa who advised that Nico is working until 18:00 and he will still revert to me. Andiswa also promised to prioritize on her side with the query since Nico provided him with an insight. To date I have not heard any feedback from either one of them and I continued calling the following days but could not be transferred to this people. From the claims submitted I still await a refund for September, October and December 2023. The last time I was able to speak to this people I was told that my claims for Sep & Oct keeps on rejecting and for December the reason for rejection says the limit was depleted which does not make sense. Furthermore, From the 3 payments I received, March & April 2024 have been funded from my medical savings instead of Insured benefits. On 07 May I also called Farzana to enquire why I am told the limit was depleted and she told me that she will call the pharmacy the following day and ask them to reverse the claim and resubmit in order to check the problem but to date she also never came back to me. The entire service from day 1 I contacted Bankmed regarding the claims has been a nightmare as I do not get any feedback and each time I call I have to speak to a different person and sing my story from scratch which is frustrating. I need Bankmed to pay me the outstanding 3 claims and also reverse the 2 claims funded from my medical savings

I was called with an *** at 14:45 yesterday and when I answered the person hung up. A text message followed to say “ we tried to reach you with no success please advice when is the convenient time to call you”. The text message had no identification as to which company it’s from nor a contact number for me to respond to and therefore I am not certain that it was Bankmed who tried to reach me.
Furthermore, if a serious attempt was made, you guys have my email address but to date I have not been updated on email either
