No payment to doctor

I went to my doctor on the 30/05/2016 and to my surprise he was not paid because apparently I have exceeded my "out-of -network" visits. I am Bankmed Basic plan user and have NEVER been told that I have exceeded my doctor's visits. I contacted Bankmed and I was then advised that Basic Plan users need to choose a primary care giver and that I would have 8 visits and should I need more, I should call Bankmed to authorise more visits. What puzzles me is that, this information was never communicated to users, I work in a bank obviously and have asked around about this and no one knew about this. The information on the website states that I have unlimited doctors' visits, provided they are within the "network" which has always been "carecross". What makes things worse is that a colleague of mine, who went to the same doctor and was told that they couldn't pay him because of the same issue had her problem solved by a manager called Qhayiya, he went to the extent of apologising and made sure the doctor was paid, but with me, it is a different story. Again, Bankmed is breaching the CPA rule of disclosing information to the customers about the changes made by them that affect customers then turn around and choose who they want to help and when. I need this resolved ASAP, I'm sick as it is and cannot go to the doctor.

I will be taking this up with the CPA if this matter is not resolved in 24-48 hours.
