Medical Savings Account refund

I'm disappointed with Bankmed and how they handle paying out MSA funds when the client changes medical aid plans. I'm told I must wait 5 months before my funds are paid out to me, this is due to the act that says service providers have up to 4 months to submit a claims with medical aid companies. Be that as it may, it is unfair for medical aid scheme to expect a clients to just wait even when the client knows for sure they have no service provider that is waiting to claim because you've not been to the DR or pharmacy or any medical service that needs to still claim. As it stands my balance on MSA is very high, because of what I used my MSA funds for, was mainly just to buy multivitamins and headache pills ****erally grandpa). My family and I hardly went to visit DR's. But I must now wait, just because "the act says service providers have up to 4 months to claim", how about going over the clients profile and see if this waiting makes sense? Our money is being held for no good reason but the greed of the medical aid schemes to keep our money for their profits. I need my money paid out to me. Look at my balance, check my previously submitted claims, you will get the idea that no one is waiting to claim. Please tell me what are my options to make the money available. Note: I am still a Bankmed client, I just changed medical plans with no MSA option.
