the medical aid that declines authorization for medical need? my daughter needs to see a specialist and my gp refer her , but we needed Bankmed to authorize. we sent the form of which they returned it and told the information was insufficient INFORMATION, Which they outlined what needed to be on the authorization form, which i took to the doctor to put the outlined information. the doctor did and resent. tell me why they came back saying the information is not enough. the doctor and i went through what they themselves wrote as needed to make sure everything is covered , and sent it, they retuned it back for insufficient information. asking me to go back to the doctor again for third time. according to them "im the doctor's only patient, i dont have work to do" they an keep sending me back to the doctor as they wish. mid you my daughter goes months without the need for medical nee, this one time she does need medical assistance the medical aid i pay is happily giving me the run around. very "competent" these people are!
