i spoke to a consultant at bankmed, and wanted to know if there was no way that the glasses my wife had to make could be covered under her chronic benefit and was advised that this was not possible. the consultant was excellent however my wife needed the glasses as per her chronic illness this have subsequently depleted our savings. I have 3 boys and a wife what will i do if i need to take them a doctor. Medical Aid schemes really have no care for clients this is just a collections mechanism nothing more.
